She starred as Agnes Evans in the 2012 TV mini-series Secret State. Since 2013 Negga has starred as Raina in the TV series Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. She has starred in the movies Breakfast on Pluto, Isolation, Colour Me Kubrick: A True…ish Story, Fury, World War Z, 12 Years a Slave, All Is by My Side, Noble, and Una Vida: A Fable of Music and the Mind. Negga won an Irish Film and Television Award for Best Actress – Television for Shirley in 2012. She has been nominated for six other Irish Film and Television Awards. She won an EPP Shooting Star Award at the Berlin International Film Festival in 2006.
