The Fat Boys had success with their albums The Fat Boys Are Back in 1985 and Big & Beautiful in 1986. Their album Crushin’ in 1987 reached #4 on the US R&B/Hip-Hop chart and #8 on the Billboard 200 chart. The group also released the albums Coming Back Hard Again in 1988, On and On in 1989, and Mack Daddy in 1991. As an actor Wimbley appeared in the movies Knights of the City, Disorderlies, and My Crackhead Uncle.
